Abbotsleigh pair selected for Junior World Championships in USA

Sprinter Natasha Ramsden and Head Coach Amanda Isaac have been selected to represent Australia at the 2017 FINA Junior World Swimming Championships. This fantastic news and a huge achievement for both Natasha and Amanda.

The news broke late Friday night at the conclusion of the Australian Age Swimming Championships in Brisbane. During the competition Natasha posted impressive performances in her favoured 50m and 100m Freestyle events under Amanda’s expert guidance.

This is the first time in Abbotsleigh Swimming Club’s history that we have placed people onto a World Championship team. It is the culmination of a lot hard work and commitment by the two of them – and great that Club members will now be able to train with and be coached by Australian representatives!

The Australian team of 30 athletes, 7 coaches, manager and support staff will compete in Indianapolis USA 23-28 August 2017.
