Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Abbotsleigh Swimming Club will be held on
Tuesday 8th October, starting 6pm at Abbotsleigh Senior School (Abbotsleigh Senior School Meeting Room*), Wahroonga.
*directions: The Meeting Room is next to SAO. Enter via the doors near the Assembly Hall, turn left down the corridor passed SAO and it is the third door on the left. Please see the attached MAP for the location of the entrance doors near the Assembly Hall, marked with a RED arrow.

 

Nominations for Committee positions

In accordance with the constitution, nominations for committee positions may be made at the AGM.
To assist with the preparation for the AGM it would be appreciated if nominations are provided beforehand to
Lexie Lysaght, Secretary of the swim club, by email toabbswimclub@gmail.com

Hi Team
For those that the fins fit – please have your order in with your $40 by Friday 23rd Aug.
Remember Nicole Dunlop is taking orders poolside with the fins and the colours.

Coach and Parents’ Meeting 21st August

To all Swimming club and competitive squad parents.
I’d like to run a parent forum during swimming club on Wednesday the 21st August. I plan on it only being for 20 – 30 mins and it will run whilst the kids race so we do not hold you up any longer than normal. 5:30pm start.

Topics I will cover include;

· Up and coming summer season plans.
· The role of the Swimming team including parents, coaches, swimmers and providers.
· Abbotsleigh Swimming club progress.
· Communication.
· Q and A (please come with all questions as usually others have the same)

I will be available after the meeting if there are any private matters people wish to discuss.

If you know of anyone that may not be receiving these emails – please pass it on.
It will be great if all parents could make a special effort to be there so we are all on the same page and striving forward together this coming summer.
