SOPAC excitement for Abbotsleigh starts today

Today Abbotsleigh swimmers are joining 700 of the best from across Australia for the 2015 Hancock Prospecting Australian Championships at SOPAC. The event runs for 8 days and doubles as a FINA and IPC World Championship selection event.

Our swimmers will be rubbing shoulders with reigning World Champions Cate Campbell (100m freestyle), James Magnussen (100m freestyle) and Christian Sprenger (100m breastroke) and a host of rising starts including Cameron McEvoy, Thomas Fraser-Holmes, Emma McKeon, Bronte Campbell and Mack Horton.

Katie and Geoff raced today and supporters who could not make it to the stadium were thrilled to watch our athletes live via Youtube courtesy of Swimming Australia. Abbotsleigh supporters will be at sopac in force on Tuesday and Thursday nights to join the fun in person.

Go Abbotsleigh!
